6/9 Shanghai, China: After a several weeks preparation, with sincere thanks from the support of our friends and partners across China. our week-long "Panda Aid" international humanitarian project, initiated by the China-US Solidarity Network, National Immigrant Solidarity Network and the Beijing e-Medical Alliance, officially departed from Shanghai, China to Cairo, Egypt today to carry out our medical humanitarian support mission for Gaza.

Our team include students, community groups and bio-tech comapny, will travel Egypt for medical donations, coordinate with local humanitarian organizations for the Gaza aid, and the solidarity messages from China to the people of Palestine!

For the past several months, several members from our organization, and our international antiwar allies had been try to enter Gaza via Egypt to deliver aids, but without success. The Rafah crossing connecting Egypt and Gaza has been invaded and occupied by the Israeli Occupied Force (IOF), forced to closed down since April. No humanitarian volunteers and supplies can enter Gaza, how should we fight for break the siege, and to deliver our solidarity aids in the future?

We have been communicating with many international and Egypt local partners, UN agencies, and aid workers in Gaza, to strategize how we can involve.

Last March we visited Cario and met with local humanitarian organizations and US-based Palestinian writer and activist Susan Abulhawa, she's the founder of her Gaza-based humanitarian organization "Playgrounds for Palestine", her testimony and organizing experience inspired us a lot.

Compare with the West and the U.S., China has the World largest public opinion base to support Palestinian struggle, yet most international humanitarian operations are run by the white Europeans. While there're some Chimese-run humanitarian operations in Gaza, because of the big media censorship and racism, no voices from China had been highlighted by the West; instead U.S.-imperialism and Genocide Joe who're nonstop backing military aids to Israel for the genocide, same time they had been spreading non-stop Chinaphobia propaganda.

Our goal is to bring Chinese activists from around the World, as well as people of color community activists anywehere, unite for peaceful action to fight against US-Israeli war machine and genocide and to deliver our solidarity aids to Gaza.

We want to build our activist-run medical tents in Gaza, it'll be a very complex operation due to the Israeli blockade and multiple-government bureaucracies of custom clearance, logistics transportation to deliver aids to Gaza,. causing the entire operation unnecessarily expansive.

Still there're many civil groups of all sizes with different backgrounds working hard for humanitarian assistance in Gaza.We cannot enter Gaza for our humanitarian aid this time, with the cooperation with the Egyptian, Chinese and Global South partners, we'll build our humanitarian work in Gaza very soon!

More updates will he coming when we're arriving to Egypt tomorrow.

Our red line is US Imperialism and Israeli Zionism, and our messages are:
Free Gaza! China Stands for Palestine!
The People United Will Never be defeated!
